History

Asian Mineral Resources was incorporated under the New Zealand Companies Act on November 17, 1988 and was registered under the New Zealand Companies Act 1993 on the May 5, 1997 under number AK/413052 in Auckland, New Zealand.

From 1996 to 1999 ASN was a wholly owned subsidiary of Spectrum Resources Limited (Spectrum), a public company which traded on the New Zealand Stock Exchange in New Zealand, and on the Vancouver Stock Exchange in British Columbia. In 1999, Spectrum distributed one share of Asian Mineral Resources to its shareholders for every four shares they held of Spectrum and the Company became a reporting entity in New Zealand.

ASN listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in April 2004 and was continued under the laws of the Province of British Columbia in December 2004.
